GeoHab has funding to assist a small number of students each year to attend the annual GeoHab conference. The grant for 2010 covers the cost of airfare, lodging and conference registration.

In order to be considered for the grant you must be prepared to present your work as an oral presentation at GeoHab 2010 in Wellington, New Zealand. (Posters, or presentations given by others, are not accepted).

All students are encouraged to apply.  Applications will be evaluated by the GeoHab Student Selection Committee.  Preference may be given to students who have attended previous GeoHab meetings, and/or those who would not otherwise have funding to enable them to attend GeoHab 2010.

If you are interested in applying for this grant please complete the Student Grant Application Form and submit the completed form via EMAIL to Terje Thorsnes (terje.thorsnes@ngu.no), Chair of the Student Selection Committee, by 6 February 2010.

The GeoHab Student Selection Committee will contact all students who apply as soon as the selection process has been completed.
