| GeoHab 2006 was held 3-6 May 2006 at the Apex
International Hotel in Edinburgh, Scotland, in
the shadow of Edinburgh castle. The conference
was organized by team lead by Alan Stevenson and
Heather Stewart of the British Geological Survey.
The theme of the conference was
Regional Marine Habitat Mapping Influencing
Marine Policy and Resource Development.
Sponsors included the British
Geological Survey, the Centre for Environment,
Fisheries and Aquaculture Science, and the
National Oceanography Centre, Southampton.
