| GeoHab 2007 was held 2-5 May 2007 at the
L’Institut de recherche pour le
développement (IRD) in Nouméa, New Caledonia.
The conference was organized by Yves Lafoy
(Direction de l'industrie, des mines et de
l'énergie de Nouvelle-Calédonie) and his team.
The theme of the conference was Marine
Benthic Habitats of the Pacific and Other Oceans:
Status, Use and Management.
Sponsors included IRD, the Government
of New Caledonia, the Circum-Pacific Council,
SOPAC (Pacific Islands Applied Geoscience
Commission), and Moss Landing Marine
Laboratories.
